iTunes 8.2

xtraaaaaa Apple is cracking down on jailbreakers.

There is a new iTunes (8.2) available for download via software update.

BUT, I read an article, which can be found here, that says that Apple has done many

things to prevent iPods/iPhones from being jailbroken. Like making sure they have

the right bb chip code, firmware image, and tons more which is all on the article.

It even messes up your device if you use QuickPWN!

So, I'm not updating because I like jailbreaking.

After that, I went to the Dark Star Orchestra concert which is a tribute band for

the Grateful Dead. It was at the Electric Factory and started at 9:30-1:45.

Bam, so, I went to Springboard Media to see if they could figure out why my iPhone wasn't restoring. I was getting a 1011 error and I knew that but wasn't sure what to do next.

So, he restored it for me and I was locked out. I took it home and re-unlocked it.

I made a plan with my dad, he said if I gave him the iPhone then he would get me a G1.

Eggs in Sheriff Town!?

Wednesday, in BioChem.. Ali and I cooked some scrambled eggs with a beaker, a bunsen burner, and leftover eggs from a classmate's project. We put recycling to good use when we used the eggs to cook instead of just being trashed. The picture above is the completed product and the video above shows some of the process it took to make this wonderful achievement in BioChem "slacking-off task projects". Message me for more videos.

My iPhone is BRICKED!

So, a couple days ago my iPhone just shut off. I tried to restore it in iTunes and everything.

Threw it into DFU mode, Restore Mode, everything..

nothing's working.

So, now I'm using my Moto RIZR Z3... but I'm probably going to get the G1 very soon..

I'm sure I'll fix the iPhone but that "dead" part of the screen was just ridiculous to deal with.

So, Friday a couple of us went to Engineering Club to work on the stuff that we are going to present at the PECO Conference thingy at the Franklin this Wednesday.

So, we got there and broke up a wooden skid, then we all walked to a hardware store a couple blocks away.

Next, we all went to Trader Joes™ and VK payed for all of us ! =D

Whoot, so we all got back and feasted, then got back to work.. Some of us drilled, painted,

built, and bended.

We all know FMYLIFE.COM, I think..

Well, I have a screensaver from another site kind of similar to fmylife

but a little different with more categories such as; "love, hate, think, believe, feel, wish."

People post in whichever category they want and say random things. They scroll by themselves

slowly so you can read even more. It is available for download here. It's a site called Twistori.

But, lemme get back to the point. If you downloaded the MAC screensaver from that site you'll

SLA ENERGY

So, I'm working with a team to design a Web-Site containing many things

relating to energy. It's going to include a Music Video, PSA, Resource Pages, and

YESTERDAY

LMAO.
Yesterday had to be the most "dumbass" day of the year.
After school, me, kern, ian, jason, and tariq went to Ian's house.
What happened:

1. We started shooting BB Guns while standing on the cover of Ian's hot-tub.
2. Seconds later it collapsed and we all dodged falling into the murky waters.
3. All Ian's BBs fell into the water.
4. Kern "sifted" them out with a pasta strainer.
5. Tariq took Jason hostage with a BB gun and scared the *shit* outta him. Kern left.
6. We went for pizza, I bought.
7. Jason used the word "prolong" and Tariq and I argued with him for hours.
8. We got back to Ian's and chillaxed and Tariq and Jason got ready to leave.
9. We all walked to the trolley stop near school.
10. IAN AND I WENT into the PORN SHOP.
11. We quickly ran out after a singing man started coming towards us.
12. Jason and Tariq joined us when we went in the 2nd time and we quickly ran out because a big man was coming down the steps.
13. Tariq and Jason left and I played "ding-dong-ditch" on multiple houses.
14. Ian sliced my arm 4 times with a transpass.
15. I left.

So, I went to school.

Watched some Spanish videos of my fellow classmates. ;)

Then, got invited to the Greenworks Conference meeting by my Engineering teacher, VK.

Along with some other students in my school.

I shook Mayor Nutter's hand and learned about his plans for making Philadelphia "greener."

Got some free goodies! ;)

Then, came back to school and went to Engineering class.

Tariq and I's (does that make sense?) generator failed along with the whole class but we are now fixing it because the due date has been extended to Monday.

After that, I ate some lunch and then went to the ILP Expo for the SLA Freshmen! whoot! 2012!

ILP= Individualized Learning Plan (like a job on Wednesdays)

I checked out Wireless Philadelphia and a graphical artist course at Drexel.

Everything looked pretty cool and I have a little debating to do because I'm not 100 % sure

what I want.

Then, the SLA Track, Softball, and Soccer teams left "haha" for different games/meet.

SLA Track did pretty good, we raced at South Philadelphia High School's new track.

We all did good, I did the 400 M and got 1:03 which was pretty good. That's a 1/4 mile, I got in place 3 of 6.

SLA Track went out with a bang! GOOD JOB!

Now, for some pizza.

new firmware coming out, 3.0.

It's going to include copy and paste, MMS, bluetooth

and like 200 other things. Anyways, in the jailbreaking

So, Beta 3.0 has been given exclusively to Apple App Developers

and some hackers got their hands on it and went to work on it.

So, I have been assigned as a long sprinter for my H.S. track team

and I'm looking forward to our first meet on Monday, which

But we've been training for weeks, so it's all good.

and it's promising some pretty cool stuff.

Anyways, so y'all recall reading about the top row of my keyboard

not working on my iPhone. Well I did some research and read that

it could either be a hardware problem or software problem. So,

to check it wasn't a software problem, I restored it. Yep,

got it off T-Mobile and back to the same useless brick without a AT&T

plan. So, I figured ahhhh I just updated it 2.2 so I'll just use

PwnageTool or QuickPwn to get it back on T-Mobile and jailbroken,

blah blah. Well QuickPwn didn't work because it supposedly didn't support

the firmware on my iPhone...

pretty weird. So, I scratched that and used PwnageTool. I

worked ALL DAY trying to restore a custom firmware but I kept getting errors in

iTunes. I was getting really frustrated. Eventually I tried doing it on the latest firmware

and it worked.

But, I lost all my 3rd party apps via Cydia and still have a spot that doesn't work.

MMS/ Bluetooth for iPhone

So, there is no actual MMS for iPhone yet. (picture messages, etc.) 

There are 3rd party apps that let you send pix, but not receive, and even though, 

they are still buggy. So, APPLE, "c'mon". The most basic thing, iPhone lacks! 

Anyways, there is another 3rd party app out there, it goes by the name, "SweetTooth".

What it does is finds Bluetooth devices. It's still in early development,

Slumdog Millionaire

I recently saw Slumdog Millionaire. I like to make movies and from a director's POV I thought the originality and 'freshness' of this film was just fantastic. The film is about a "slumdog" (someone from slums) who becomes a winner on India's version of, "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire". Yes, Jailbreaking an iPhone or iPod is now illegal.

Not to fear though, I mean.. I'm not really sure how they could 

penatalize you, I guess maybe if you tried to send it back to them

to get fixed..maybe they wont?
